Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is an American actress fashion designer and model. Shortly after beginning her career as a model she soon began acting in guest roles on 1990's programs on television like Boy Meets World and High Incident. In 1997 she debuted as a film actress in Nowhere. Her roles were in American Beauty, for which she was awarded an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie attracted a lot of public attention. The actress has appeared in American Pie's Co-Star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the lead character on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2001). Her appearances were in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action feature Trauma. Other appearances on HBO include the drama Six Feet Under. In 2008 her filmography included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the version from The Garden of Eden and several other movies. Suvari appeared on various fashion websites and in various magazines such as Vogue and Lancome Paris Adaptive print ads. Suvari has been a loyal advocate and supporter of the esteemed African relief group, the African Medical and Research Foundation. Additionally, she is involved in issues of empowerment for women and charities who promote breast cancer research and End Violence Against Women. She has starred in several television series, including Dark Angel Heroes Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper Rookie Blue. The model has worked for major companies such as Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada, and Olympics. Missy is known for her film Stick It Backcountry Any Red and Wide Awake. Missy did an excellent job with all three films, and she was an actress of the caliber she is. Missy is a generous woman. She is often involved in charity initiatives. The organization she is a part of is a non- political body that is dedicated to creating affordable, safe foot-wear for societies inside South America. Apart from being awarded the Leo Awards, she was awarded with a Streamy Awards as Best Actress.
